Thanksvember 16th

Today I am thankful for my computer. I know that is really materialistic, but I love my computer. I am constantly on it, looking up stuff, learning, doing whatever. My typing skills are fantastic, and now my note taking skills are too. Because of my computer, I have learned how to do more on my own (learning photoshop, learning how to use a mac) then I would have before. So, I am thankful for my macbook!

Thanksvember 15th

Today I am thankful for God. While I don't go to church, or even follow the rules of the bible to a T, I still believe. I let God and Jesus into my heart my freshman year, and he hasn't left. God has helped me get through the toughest of times, especially right after my sister died. I know she is probably up there with him sorting and labeling all of his paperwork. Plus my faith has helped me through my grief, because I know that one day, I will see my big sissy again.

Thanksvember 14th

Today I am thankful for my life. This is a but personal, but my reasoning is that if I share my story, I can help others. Over my life, I have tried to kill myself multiple times. But God has saved me over and over, probably so that I can be an awesome auntie! But I am extremely thankful to be here.

Thanksvember 8th

Today I am thankful for food. I LOVE eating. I eat pasta, steak to fast food and milkshakes. My family can chose to go out to dinner or just stay home and cook. A lot of people don't have that option. According to Feeding America, 1 in 6 Americans are fighting hunger. So today, I am thankful to have food.

Thanksvember 7th

Today i am thankful for my house. I love coming home for my family as much as I do my house. I know that I will always have a roof over my head. I know that when I need it, I will always have my own room. There are so many people who dont have a home, so I know that I am extremely fortunate.

Thanksvember 6th

Today I am thankful for one of my best friends, Rachel. She is an amazing person. She is ALWAYS there to make me laugh when I want to try, to go egg someones house with me, or just take a target run. I can't even explain how much I love this girl. She has been my friend for the last four years, with forty more to come.

Today i am thankful for my big brother. He has always beeen the good big brother, instead of the classic mean one. He calls me just cause, takes me out to lunch just for the heck of it. He treats me like an adult instead of his baby sister. He is one of the most important people in my life.

I am thankful for my dad. Like my mom, he is always there for me. I know he will always be there to watch a dumb movie, make some brownies, or just sit around. He listens to me blabber on about uninportant stuff and actually cares. I am thankful for him.

So in class today, my Com 101 teacher told us about Thanksvember. In honor of thanksgiving and giving thanks, you are supposed to wake up every day and give thanks to something good in your life. I am only a day late, but I am going to try it. Hopefully I fail epically like I did with the other 30 day challenges.
November 2
I am thankful for my mom. My mom is my rock, hands down. She sticks by me no matter what, right or wrong. Whenever I am feeling sad, lonely, or just plain crappy, she is there for me to cuddle on and make me feel better. When I am sick, she lets me cuddle on her to feel better even though it means she will probably catch whatever I have. She spoils me like crazy, even though I am no longer a child. I know that I can count on her for anything. I love you mom!
