Prefense Hand Sanitizer Review

I am constantly getting sick. I am the type of person who is sick more times in the winter than not. This probably has to do with the fact that I am constantly touching stuff and not cleaning my hands. I never have hand sanitizer on me, which doesn't help. That is why I really like Prefense. One application of Prefense protects through ten hand washings!
According to the Prefense website, these are the advantages and benifits from using Prefense.

  • Sanitizes skin and nails on contact
  • Proactively and persistently offers protection from germs for up to 24 hours without reapplication.
  • Silica complex, AMOSILQ, adheres to skin for 24 hours offering proactive antibacterial barrier wet or dry.
  • Forms a protective antibacterial barrier on the skin
  • Once dry, anti-bacterial activity remains effective through 10 hand washings or 24 hours.
  • Long lasting protection against germs and bacteria
  • Stops skin to skin transfer of germs
  • Regular application provides continual antimicrobial protection
  • Easy, rapid, foam application
  • Colorless product is invisible on application and will not stain skin or clothing
  • Water based product is non-flammable
It is really easy to use Prefense. The bottle is designed well and easy to use.
One squirt equals about a ping pong ball size of foam.
It dries up quickly, which is nice. I hate when you have hand sanitizer on your hands and it takes forever for it to dry.

Like most products, you can either buy it online or in stores. They have a store locator on their website. They have a lot of cities you can chose from to search for a store in your area.

Want to buy Prefense? You can go to their online store and pick from five different sizes and prices.

But I know what you really want to do. You want to win your own 8 ounce bottle of Prefense Hand Sanitizer! Enter to win through the rafflecopter form below.

Golden Eel T-Shirt Review

Recently I had the great pleasure to review a t-shirt from Golden Eel.

I was sent the Juniper and her Christmas Tree shirt.

I really like this shirt. It is so cute! It reminds me of a Charlie Brown Christmas, but with a girl. The sad little tree being all decked out for the holidays!
This shirt is adorable on. It fits really well in the shoulders and sleeves, although it is a little tight in the bust. But that is my fault, I was warned that they run a little bit small. But my friend Kevin said that it made the shirt look better on me, and although as creepy as that comment is, I guess he is right.
Like I said, it is a little tight. But it still looks good!
The material is really nice. The shirt is super soft which makes it nice to wear.  They use shirts from American Apparel as the base. The only problem I have with the shirt is that the picture is very stiff. It is very vinyl-y feeling. It makes the front of the shirt stiff, but it eventually softens up a little bit through out the day. Because of whatever the print is made of, it wrinkles really easy, as you can see in the picture below. But honestly, as a college student, I don't really care if my clothes are wrinkled or not, which drives my mom crazy.
Over all, this is a great shirt. I got a lot of compliments while wearing it, all from guys curiously. I love the vibrant colors and the good, soft quality material.
Golden Eel also has a lot of other nice products. They have a lot of women's shirts that are super cute.  I really like the Single and Loving It shirt though!

Because my niece was just born, I am constantly on the lookout for things to buy her and spoil her with. They have some adorable onezies! I feel like the I'm the Boss onezie would be perfect for my niece, because honestly, she already is the boss, and she is only a day old.
Disclosure: I was given the t-shirt from golden eel at no charge in exchange for an honest review. I did not receive any other type of compensation for this review. The opinions expressed in my review are mine alone, based on my experience, and were not influenced by anyone else.

Care Packages from CarePackages.com Review!

So I recently received a care package from CarePackages.com. I was sent a Just Because package.
When I picked up the box, I was kind of disappointed on how small it was. But what I didn't know was how deceiving the little box was.

When I opened the box, I immediately noticed the card inside of it. You can have the card personalized, which I think is really cool. I love getting cards, because it really makes me feel like someone is thinking about me. Mine read: Nina, Have a great semester! Your friends at carepackages.com. Even though I don't know who wrote this message, it immediately made me feel all warm and happy inside. Plus the card had a cute little bunny on the front, and I love animals!

So after my card was read and taken out, I started to take out my goodies. I pulled food after food after food item out of this box. Niki was watching, and I'm pretty sure she thought it was like Mary Poppins carpet bag, that it would never end. I didn't either. I was amazing at the quantity of items that Care Packages can fit in there. This is a picture of everything received chillin on my desk:

As you can see, its a lot of stuff. But a great mix of it. There were M&Ms, to Pringles, to Sunflower seeds. I loved the variety, that there wasn't only chocolate, or only chips. That way I can fulfill both my sweet and salty cravings! My favorite treat in the Care Package was definitely the Rice Krispies Treat. I LOVE THEM! They are so delicious. I can't even tell you why, they just are. Plus it was a king size, score! Everything I have tried so far has been really fresh. Which is nice, because I hate biting into something that I have been craving and it be gross.
I would definitely recommend checking out CarePackages.com to send a care package. They aren't just for college student's, they have a wide variety in every price budget. Besides, Halloween is coming up, and who wouldn't want to send their favorite college student, friend, relative, blogger... the Pumpkin Patch Care Package!

Scribbles Fabric Crayons Review

So I recently picked up some Scribbles Fabric Crayons at Joann's the other day. I was really excited to make some CMU shirts with my new crayons. I ended up using them on a pair of shorts I have. They were maroon, so I wanted to add gold aka yellow to the white stripes. Plus write CMU on them of course. The first thing I noticed as I pulled them out was that they did not have any paper wrapping on them. Which meant of course, I got my hands all dirty. Then when I started coloring, the crayon split in two. Which wasn't fun to try to color with. When I started writing CMU on my shorts, the black crayon split in 4! Plus I got lots of black on my hand. But there are two good things about these crayons. They are cheap, and they are vibrant. So as long as you don't mind the breaking and the mess, these are for you! Or me, the cheap college kid.
